Established in 2009, Han 202 began with a vision to bring together the depth of Chinese culinary tradition and the creativity of French cuisine.

Located in Chicago's Bridgeport neighborhood, our restaurant has grown and evolved over the years while remaining committed to creating a dining experience that feels personal, thoughtful, and welcoming.

Our name, Han 202, draws inspiration from the Han Dynasty, founded in 202 BC—a period remembered for its lasting cultural influence. This inspiration reflects our appreciation for heritage and our desire to bring tradition into a contemporary dining experience.

At the heart of Han 202 is our four-course prix fixe menu, where seasonal ingredients, thoughtful techniques, and the interplay of Chinese and French influences come together course by course.
